My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This beautiful female is just a little over a year old and recently finished raising her puppies. Now its her turn to be loved.

She is a gentle, affectionate girl who can be a bit unsure at first. When shes nervous, she may bark to let you know shes scaredbut once she realizes youre kind and wont hurt her, she settles in and shows her sweet, loving side.

Shes currently thriving in a foster home with two kids (ages 3 and 7) and another dog, and she does amazing with them! Shes patient, tolerant, and has shown she can be a wonderful family dog.

She loves being near her people, so a home where someone is around oftenespecially a work-from-home householdwould be ideal. Shes very food motivated and already knows how to sit and wait patiently while her bowl is placed down until shes told its time to eat. Shes eager to learn and will continue to shine with consistency and love.

This sweet girl has been such a good mama, and now she deserves a home where she feels safe, secure, and cherished. If youre looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little patience to blossom, she might be the perfect match for you.

Our adoption process takes several steps and cannot be completed in one day. All of our volunteers work full time and assist the rescue in their spare time. Please allow 2-3 business days for a response.

* Applicants must be willing to make a ten plus year commitment to their new family member.

* Applicants must commit to daily exercise, walks, trips to the dog park or play in the back yard. A well exercised dog is a happy well behaved dog!

* Applicants living in a rental property must provide proof of pet policy from landlord.

* Applicants must provide a veterinarian reference and if there are existing dogs in the household. All pets must be spayed/neutered and current on all shots and heartworm medication.

*Please allow at least a 7-14 day adjustment period for your new dog. Rescue dogs go thru a lot of changes and need a few days to get used to their new surroundings and adjust. Adopting a dog should be a serious commitment, so please be willing to work out the kinks. Our dogs aren't perfect but with proper training and guidance they make awesome, loving pets.

*Our adoption fees vary based on the age and medical needs of the dogs.
