This is Addie. She will be 12 years old in April of this year. She has been with me in the same home since she was 8 weeks old. I fractured my spine last year and have been unable to work full time. I've applied for disability and am waiting for approval, but unfortunately my husband of 19 years recently announced that he's reconnected with an old high school girlfriend and will be moving in with her when our current lease is up in July 2026. I will be forced to move to a rented room in a shared house that doesn't accept pets. I simply can't afford my own place that would allow me to keep Addie. I love her dearly and wish to find her a safe and caring home.
She's very independent but not at all aggressive. She enjoys being brushed but is a bit quirky about petting. She only likes to be petted with your feet. She's very good at using a litter box and has never had an accident outside of the box! She has always been a strictly indoor cat. She's really just a wonderful, calm companion.
