My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Lucy – 2-Year-Old Belgian Malinois Girl Needing a Home ASAP (by Saturday)!
Lucy is sweet and people-loving: greets delivery drivers with wags and gentle pets. Loyal, smart, joyful, but skittish from past trauma (cautious/startles in new situations at first).
At 2 years old, she's young and very trainable. Patient positive training can build her confidence—she could become a running buddy, agility dog, or devoted companion.
Loves running (hikes, sprints, jogging), fetch, obedience, puzzles. Needs 1–2+ hrs daily activity. Great health but needs shots updated (DHPP/rabies—quick vet visit post-adoption).
Best as only dog: Gets along with her lifelong Chihuahua friend, but unfamiliar dogs require careful supervised training/intros first. No chickens/poultry/small livestock (prey drive).
Ideal: Mal-experienced owners, secure fence, firm leadership, structure. Only-dog focus for best bond/energy outlet. Huge potential!
