If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Hello. We are looking to rehome our dog maggie. She is 7 years old, We recently took her in after a family member passed for around the last 6 months. We have a home with three cats, and she doesn’t quite get along with cats. This has made it pretty difficult to try to play with her while being afraid for our other pets. We would love if they all got along, but it’s getting to difficult to keep her out without us being around her 24/7. I don’t believe a dog should be in a crate for almost the entirety of the day, but it’s what it’s come to. She’s a wonderful dog and loves to play and go outside, we live in an apartment and both work until 6 with no yard. We are looking for a family for her who would ideally be a dog only family, and hopefully a nice big yard and kids to play with.
