My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Mateo💙, a resilient 1yr old boy who has overcome incredible adversity after being dumped by his owner with his sister at a high kill shelter. His sister was adopted, but Mateo's journey took a heartbreaking turn when he was placed on the euthanasia list due to space constraints. In a remarkable turn of events, we intervened just in time to save him. Now, we're racing against time to find him a foster or adopter who will provide the love and care he deserves. Mateo thrives on interaction, adoring dogs and people alike, and with some guidance on manners, he'll learn to greet you with elegance😻. This effervescent boy is destined to thrive as a loyal family companion, a trusted sidekick for adventures, or a harmonious addition to your pack. His heart and personality will undoubtedly capture yours, and we're confident you'll be inspired by his remarkable spirit💞. Mateo is neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped, and he's eager to discover his true forever home🏡 . Please email us promptly to seize the opportunity to love and cherish this extraordinary boy, providing him with the loving home he so richly deserves.

Currently being cared for in Southern California, Mateo can be transported to northern states such as Oregon, Washington, Idaho, Montana, or other locations within the continental United States, where a loving family awaits to welcome him.
