My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Our family is looking to rehome our beloved Bear. He has been with us for 2.5 years and is deeply loved. Unfortunately, we recently discovered that our baby girl has a cat allergy and eczema that is triggered by dander. After trying to manage separation within the home, we’ve realized it’s not enough nor fair to Bear to limit his space, and we want what’s best for both him and our baby.

Bear is a big, handsome boy with a bushy tail and sturdy build. His name fits him perfectly! He’s active, confident, and full of personality. He’s more independent than cuddly, but he enjoys being near his people and part of the action.

Bear does well with respectful children and has been around our toddler since he was a kitten. However, he is very clear about his boundaries and may scratch or nip if he feels overstimulated, so he would likely do best in a home with older kids or adults who understand cat body language.

Please message us if you’re interested or would like to learn more about Bear!
