If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Tiller is a ~45 lb, high-energy young dog who thrives outdoors and would do best in an active home with space to run. He is 9 months old and is up to date on all shots and is neutered. He has received professional obedience and behavioral training and has a strong foundation. He is crate trained, potty trained, e-collar conditioned, and has excellent recall. His general obedience is solid and he responds well to structure.
Tiller loves being outside and would excel in an environment with property or an owner who enjoys outdoor activities and can provide consistent engagement.
He does have some behavioral considerations, including resource guarding tendencies and occasional moodiness in the evenings. We have worked closely with a professional trainer to manage these behaviors successfully, and we are happy to share details with the right home to ensure a smooth transition.
Due to a growing family and a baby arriving soon, we believe Tiller would be better suited in a different home.
