My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Daisy is a smart and curious girl. She loves to explore and is always up for an adventure. After wearing herself  out supervising all the household activities, she curls up next to you for a long cat nap. At night she prefers cuddling up next to you and loves when you put your arm around her to nestle in your arms. With her silky fur it is a treat to cuddle with this lovebug. She gets along well with our senior foster cat and even got her playing after years of neglect. She and my 4 year old kitty boy love to play and she loves to chase him around the house. Unfortunately my 4 year old girl hasn’t warmed up to Daisy and is a big bully threatening to attack if ever a moment presents itself. This is no way for this sweet girl to live her life. It is with the heaviest of hearts her family of 8 months has decided to find her a safe and loving home. She comes with her own kitty hammock/scratching post hangout and a package of her favorite springs. She has been known to fetch and loves to chase a ball of paper or a plastic kitty.

Meet Daisy at PetSmart, Bleachery Blvd, from 12-4pm on Saturday during our weekly adoption event.  All cats are spayed/neutered, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, microchipped, FELV/FIV tested, dewormed and started on monthly flea preventative.  Apply to adopt to be the first to schedule a meet and greet.

All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Contact the foster parent or Mountain Pet Rescue at pets@mpravl.org for more information.

Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our animals as an individual and do our best to describe and place pets based on personality not breed label.

Mountain Pet Rescue is a 501(c)(3) non-profit tax deductible charity (EIN 82-3039637) located in Asheville, NC.
