Meet Mama, a young adult (approx. 2 years old) female Boston terrier mix, weighing about 8 lbs! Mama is currently in TN and is expected to arrive in CT on 2/21. We are accepting applications on her now!
Mama is a sweet girl who needs time to warm up to people but once she does, she loves her people! She has done well with the other dogs in her TN foster home. She has not been cat tested, so we are unsure how she would do with cats.
She is medically up to date, peepad trained currently but should be easily housetrained if on a routine. She doesn't currently like to be crated. Apply to meet this special pup today!

Adoption fees vary based on the dog and are not negotiable. As a small rescue that does not receive government funding or grants, we rely on adoption fees to stay afloat. Adoption fees help cover the following: vaccinations, wellness exams, heartworm/4DX testing, parasite prevention, spay/neuter (age-appropriate), microchipping, transport expenses, and other rescue-related overhead/administrative costs. Paws Rescue League, Inc is an all-inclusive rescue that does NOT only rescue puppies and young, healthy dogs. We make a point to also rescue seniors, dogs with special needs, moms, and other “less desirable” dogs, knowing that we will likely incur higher veterinary expenses and that these dogs may take longer to get adopted. As such, an individual adoption fee is not only reimbursing PRL for expenses directly related to that dog, but it is also helping us to continue our mission of taking in dogs that would otherwise be too much of a financial burden to save. We believe that ALL dogs deserve a second chance. Thank you for your support and understanding!
