My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

How to Describe Binky? Rambunctious, playful, adaptable, gets along with other cats, loves humans (in your lap whenever you allow her to be), purrs incessantly, and likes to give mini kitten kisses (a quick 1-second lick on your face, seriously!)

Binky is one of the most trusting and affectionate kitties we’ve ever seen! She loves playing and cuddling. Her life revolves around run, pounce, play, pause to run up to human and purr, then repeat, over and over. We have fostered and adopted out several hundred cats and kittens since beginning our tenure with rescue organizations, and this kitten is by far the most intensely playful, affectionate, and human-loving we have ever encountered. She in inherently good-natured, curious, and forgiving.

Binky was found as a tiny single kitten in November, probably deserted by her mother. She crept into the yard of the kind person who rescued her and watched curiously and longingly at the neighborhood cats would be fed by the cat-loving person. Fortunately, she was rescued before she starved or froze as winter set in. Binky is independent, fearless and bold, but not obnoxiously so.

Binky is robustly healthy, always uses the litter box, gets along with other cats (wants to be their best friend) and loves being picked up and cuddled by humans. If you sit down, she will be in your lap in no time. And oh, did we mention she is playful? Everything is a toy to her - a tiny leaf, a wrinkle in a sheet on a bed - she makes life fun for herself and observers. When held, or even by herself, she exuberates her love of life by purring and kneading ("making biscuits"), non-stop. And those kitten kisses? If allowed (and she does know “no”) she will give the side of your face or your neck a quick, half-second lick… so endearing!

Adopt this sweet kitty and you'll have no need for TV, Facebook or TicTok - she will entertain and put a smile on your face 27/7/365. Guaranteed!

More about this rescue

CLAWS is an incorporated 501(c)3 non-profit organization, operated 100% by volunteers with 30+ years of collective experience. We have a cooperative team of foster homes dedicated to rescue, fostering, healing, and spay/neutering cats and kittens, then adopting them into forever homes where they are cherished family members for the rest of their lives. We do not have a physical, single-location shelter facility.

CLAWS: Cats Lives Are Worth Saving is committed to investing our expertise and resources in order to further achieve our cause. Since 2018, we have been supporting our community in a variety of ways and measuring our success not by size, but by more qualitative measurements such as the scale and effectiveness of our efforts.

CLAWS if primarily based in central Arkansas, but we do adopt cats to residents of the northeast US, mostly to Rhode Island and Connecticut. Due to state licensing and health department regulations, we are unable at this time to adopt cats to residents of Massachusetts. The cats adopted to northeast homes are sent via established, registered, and fully licensed pet transport agencies.
