My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tiger!
Tiger came to us from a local animal control with her two kittens. We don’t know much about her past, but she’s been very sweet with people here.
She is a lap cat through and through—climbing right up, enthusiastically making biscuits, and rubbing all over you for attention. She could be a mild trip hazard because she likes to be that close. She also enjoys interactive wand play and has fun, young-cat energy.
Tiger can be a little sensitive around food, likely from not always knowing when her next meal was coming, so she’ll do best with consistent routines. She would also prefer to be the only pet in the home.
Because she can get a bit overstimulated at times, Tiger would thrive with someone who understands cat body language and will respect her cues. In the right home, she’s an affectionate, devoted companion who really wants to be with her person.
If you would like to meet Tiger, please submit an application, or send any questions to cats@rispca.org.

Additional adoption info

Matchmaking is what we love to do. We do our very best to find the best fit for the pets awaiting adoption at the Rhode Island SPCA. The first step to adopting a dog from the Rhode Island SPCA is filling out an adoption application. If your application is selected, you will be contacted and asked if you would like to schedule a meet & greet. Because of the volume of applications we receive, sometimes we can only respond to the selected applicant. You are always welcome to contact us anytime about the status of your application at adoption@rispca.com.
