He’s social, active, and loves engaging with his people—whether that’s playtime, walks, or learning something new. He's leash-trained and loves to play fetch, showcasing his athletic side and attentive nature. He's ready to be your adventure pal and loves to calm down with belly rubs and love and affection.
True to his breed, Buddy is very intelligent and responsive to guidance. He listens well and thrives with an adopter who enjoys working with a smart, energetic dog. Because Border Collies can be naturally mouthy, Buddy would do best in an adult-only home or with an experienced family with children over 10 years old who understand and respect canine boundaries.

We are dedicated to providing rescue to abandoned, abused, neglected and homeless animals. We rescue dogs in the United States from imminent death at animal shelters, humane societies, pounds, and from owners who can no longer keep their dogs, and place them into new and permanent adoptive homes.
All of our dogs receive vet care, are up to date on their vaccinations, micro-chipped and spayed or neutered.
