All of our dogs are currently living in private shelters or foster homes in South Korea.
Once an adoption is approved, dogs will travel to the United States through legal and approved international transport procedures.
Video calls are available prior to adoption, and adopters can communicate with our rescue team in real time through our official organization and app-based messaging channels throughout the process.
-----------
Ponyo is a 2-year-old neutered male poodle mix weighing approximately 9.5 lbs. He is a gentle, people-oriented dog who shows very low interest in other animals and has demonstrated calm, neutral behavior when encountering cats and other dogs during walks. Because of his low stimulation response and strong focus on people, he may be a more appropriate candidate for a home where small animals, such as a chinchilla, are present, provided proper separation and supervision are maintained.
Ponyo was rescued after being abandoned at a grooming shop, where he stayed temporarily before entering foster care. Despite this experience, he has remained affectionate, trusting, and highly social with both adults and children. He prefers being near people, enjoys companionship, and is comfortable with grooming and handling. He walks well on leash, has minimal barking (occasionally alerting to outside noises), and has no known medical issues or dietary allergies.
He currently lives in a foster home and is described in three words as affectionate, loving, and gentle.
