Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Is there anything cuter than a long little dog with soulful eyes? We don’t think so. Coco George is a Jack Russell–Dachshund mix with the most deep, expressive brown eyes that seem to look straight into your heart.
Coco George spent his life living outdoors, but those days are behind him now. He is more than ready to discover the comforts of being an indoor dog—soft beds, cozy couches, and lots of love. This sweet boy can’t wait to finally belong to a family who will keep him safe, warm, and cherished.
✨ Adorably long-bodied and irresistible ✨ Gentle, loving, and full of heart ✨ Ready to leave outdoor life behind ✨ Dreaming of a forever home indoors
If you’re looking for a loyal companion with eyes that tell a thousand stories, Coco George is waiting to meet you. 🤎🐶
Est. DOB: 12/22/2022 22 lbs. AAR does not transport for adoption.

More about this rescue
Abandoned Animal Rescue is a no-kill dog / cat shelter located in Magnolia serving Northwest Harris and Southern Montgomery Counties in Texas. It is staffed by dedicated volunteers devoted to saving the lives of homeless and unwanted companion animals.
AAR's mission is to work towards ending pet overpopulation that results in the euthanasia of unwanted cats and dogs. We do this by providing a rescue and adoption center, by emphasizing the importance of spaying and neutering and by educating on humane animal ownership. AAR is committed to the emotional, physical, and behavioral well being of each animal in our care.
All animals surrendered to the shelter are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and wormed; dogs are tested for heartworms and, if positive, are treated prior to adoption.
All operating money for AAR comes from adoption fees, donations, and fundraisers. AAR receives no government money or assistance.
