Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Named after Olympic gold medal gymnast Gabby Douglas, this little survivor is learning to be brave in her own way. Rescued from a hoarding case, Gabby is discovering what safety and love truly mean.
Gabby can be startled by loud noises or sudden movements and may curl into a tiny ball when she’s unsure, but she’s improving every day. She follows her person from room to room and feels safest close by, especially if that means napping in a warm lap. She’s making progress on leash walking and house training, though she still has occasional accidents and isn’t yet comfortable in a crate. While she can feel overwhelmed in busy settings, she remains incredibly gentle, sweet, and quietly curious, always ready to sniff and explore.
Gabby would thrive in a calm, patient home with a predictable routine and someone who is home much of the time. A quieter environment without a lot of commotion will help her continue building confidence and feel secure. In return, she’ll offer unwavering devotion and the softest, sweetest companionship.
