Little One was surrendered through managed intake when her owner could no longer care for her. She didn’t just lose her home — she lost her sense of safety overnight.
She came in with Bear, and the comfort they bring each other is obvious. The shelter environment is overwhelming for her. She can be timid at first, especially in the kennel, but once she feels secure, her gentle, sweet nature shines through.
Little One is not a “shut down” dog — she is a sensitive soul trying to process big changes. She needs patience, calm reassurance, and ideally another dog (especially Bear) to help her feel confident again.
