Missy is an 8-year-old sweetheart who is looking for a calm, loving home to call her own. She is a shy girl at first, but behind that gentle exterior is a cat who knows what it means to be deeply loved.
Missy spent her life as a cherished member of her family, and after the heartbreaking loss of both of her human parents, she now finds herself searching for a second chance at happily ever after. Big changes can be overwhelming for a sensitive soul like Missy, so she will do best in a quiet, patient home where she can settle in at her own pace.
Once Missy feels safe, she enjoys gentle affection and companionship. She isn’t demanding or flashy — she’s the kind of cat who will quietly share space with you, nap nearby, and slowly build a trusting bond that means the world when it forms.
Missy would be an ideal companion for someone who understands shy cats and is willing to give her the time and reassurance she needs to feel secure again. In return, she’ll offer a loyal, loving presence and a heart full of gratitude.
If you’re looking to open your home — and your heart — to a cat who truly deserves a soft place to land, Missy may be the perfect match for you.
To apply to adopt Missy, please visit www.mjhs.ca, click Adopt, then Adoptable Animals, and scroll to her sweet face to submit your application. Missy is ready for her next chapter — could it be with you? 🐾💙
