Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Adorable and gentle Scottish Fold seeks hero adopter!
Frostbite came to us from local animal control. Her past is somewhat of a mystery, but we know she had been living outdoors. The facility who had her in their care for several months said that she is easy-going, enjoys her cat tree, and has a calm, gentle presence.
Frostbite will do best in a quiet, low-activity home with no young children. She may enjoy having another mellow, respectful feline companion. Her ideal person will engage with her through interactive play, quiet companionship, and gentle routines, without pressure or forced interaction.
She will need to start out in her own room for several weeks to a month, until she begins showing signs that she wants to explore more of her home.
Frostbite is a long-term project cat, and she is not for everyone. But for the right person, she offers something rare: the chance to be the one who shows her that the world can be kind, that people can be safe, and that home can mean comfort.
Frostbite is looking for someone who can give her the peaceful life she deserves and who will find something truly special in helping her slowly bloom.
If you would like to truly change the life of a special cat, call 413.781.4000 or email springfield@dakinhumane.org to see if you might be a good match.
You can visit Frostbite at the Adoption Center Tues-Sat 12:30-3.
