Jewel – Cream/Tan Doodle, 2 years, 38 lbs.

Meet Jewel

Some treasures aren’t found in a store — they’re found when you least expect them. Jewel is one of those rare, precious souls whose worth shines brighter the more you get to know her.

At just 2 years old, this beautiful Doodle has already overcome more than most dogs ever should. Jewel was found as a stray — emaciated and terrified of everything around her. But even in her most fragile moments, there was a sparkle inside her that refused to fade.

Today, that sparkle is growing brighter every single day.

Jewel may be shy when meeting new people, but give her a little time and patience, and you’ll discover the treasure she truly is. Once she trusts you, she becomes incredibly cuddly and devoted — the kind of dog who melts into your arms and makes you feel chosen. Her love isn’t given away lightly… it’s a rare and precious gift.

She’s energetic and playful, enjoys her walks, and does wonderfully on leash. She sleeps peacefully in her crate through the night and thrives with steady guidance and routine. Jewel does well with slow, respectful introductions to other dogs — big or small — and she’s even cat-friendly. With patience and consistency, she continues to blossom beautifully.

Like any precious gem, Jewel needs the right setting to truly shine. A calm, patient home that understands she is still polishing away the last bits of her fear will be her perfect match.

Bringing a dog into your life is not just a momentary decision — it’s a 15-year commitment. Jewel is looking for a family who understands that love means showing up every day, through all of life’s chapters, and giving her the security she’s never fully known before.

Jewel isn’t just her name — it’s who she is. Rare. Valuable. Beautifully unique.

If you’re ready to open your heart and make a lifelong commitment to this precious girl, you won’t just be adopting a dog… you’ll be welcoming a true treasure into your family. www.labrescuefresno.org
