Meet Kiko
Kiko is a 2-year-old neutered male with a coat as unique as his personality—shifting between a gorgeous gray and warm brown depending on the light. He’s truly a handsome boy who turns heads wherever he goes.
True to his Shar Pei nature, Kiko can be a little standoffish when you first meet him. He likes to take his time getting to know new people, but give him a few days and you’ll see his loyal, affectionate side shine through. Once you’re in his circle, you’re in for good.
Kiko is wonderfully well-mannered. He does great in a kennel and can be trusted to free roam the house when left alone. Currently fostered with four other dogs, he gets along well with canine companions—especially those who match his laid-back vibe. Kiko believes most things are “a tomorrow problem” and would thrive in a mellow home with easygoing dog friends who move at his pace.
He enjoys leisurely walks where he can take in the world around him, and he absolutely loves sunbathing outside—give him a warm patch of sunshine and he’s one happy boy.
Because loud, sudden noises can startle him, Kiko would do best in a home without the hustle and bustle of young children. A calm, steady environment will help him feel safe and allow his sweet personality to fully blossom.
If you’re looking for a loyal, low-key companion with a soulful gaze and a heart of gold, Kiko just might be your perfect match.
