If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
I fostered Shelley from the SPCA. She was a surrender due to bad circumstances. She was adopted from me and then was going to be returned to her original owner that would give her a less than ideal situation so I officially “adopted her” to protect her until I can find her a forever home. Shelley is perfect. She is fully house trained (does not eat your food, chew your stuff, etc;). I do not even crate her when I leave her alone. She is leash reactive (it depends on the dog) BUT she is good with other dogs when she gets to meet them in a safe way. She is great with kids. I have seen her confidence grow so much in the few weeks I have had her. She just loves to hangout, go on walks, and simply exist in a calm environment. I wish I could keep her but that was never the plan. I adore her so much.
