Once living the outdoor life, Rorschach has been gently "plucked" into the safety of indoor living - and he's making wonderful strides as he learns to trust this new world. Each day brings progress as he discovers that cozy beds, steady meals, and kind hands are pretty great perks.
In his temporary home, Rorschach did well with other feline friends, and their presence helped his playful side shine. With the right encouragement, he enjoys engaging in play and exploring his surroundings with curious determination.
Rorschach is looking for a patient, trustworthy person who will give him the time and understanding he needs to fully settle in. He may take a little while to feel secure, but once he does, he's ready to resume his quest for a stable, loving home.

For dogs, we require a meet n greet with any people or other dogs that would be living with the dog you are interested in adopting.

Submit Application
We approve applications on the spot! Be prepared to leave the facility with the animal you are interested in!

We stop adoptions 30 minutes before close to give ample time to spend with the animal you are interested in and still have time to go over paperwork/medical history.

We are a government agency that enforces Michigan State Law, however, we do operate a shelter to house all the stray and relinquished animals from our service area as well as contracting with nine other municipalities to house and adopt their stray and relinquished animals.
