💔 Maybelle Survived Cruelty. Now She Just Needs Love. 💜
Maybelle’s story is one that’s hard to hear, but it’s also one of incredible resilience.
At some point early in her life, someone hit this gentle cat with a baseball bat and broke her jaw. The injury healed visibly displaced, a permanent reminder of the cruelty she endured. But what’s even more remarkable is that Maybelle never lost her sweetness.
Despite everything she went through, Maybelle is incredibly loving, gentle, and trusting with people. She greets kindness with affection and has the soft, calm personality of a cat who simply wants to be safe and loved.
Her jaw looks a little different, but it does not cause her pain and she eats normally. She is healthy, about 5 years old, and a petite 7 pounds.
Maybelle was also a devoted mama. She raised two kittens who have already been adopted, and now that her babies have homes, this sweet girl is still waiting for someone to choose her.
Too often, cats who have visible scars from their past get overlooked, but Maybelle’s scar is actually a badge of survival.
She survived cruelty.
She survived raising her babies.
Now she deserves the chance to finally experience a life filled with safety, warmth, and love.
Maybelle doesn’t need perfection.
She just needs someone with a kind heart who will see past her past and give her the future she deserves.

Visit us (by appointment only) at our physical location in Blairsville, GA 30512. Please e-mail us your contact info. and which pet you are interested in. We will happily arrange a meeting with that pet.
We also hold adoptions most Saturdays from 10-4 at the Alpharetta Petsmart. It is located across from the North Point Mall. Also Petco in Milton/Alpharetta. Please e-mail us for specific dates and locations. Not all pets at our shelter are at the adoption event. If you would like to see a certain pet at an event, e-mail us and let us know which one you are interested in.
