My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Ti & Rey are lovely British Shorthair mix sisters who came to UPAWS through no fault of their own. A little bashful at first, they quickly blossom into gentle, well-mannered, affectionate companions who truly love to be petted. Their rich, plush, black-velvet coats are stunning, and their sweet, easygoing personalities make them wonderful family cats.

Spend a quiet moment with them and you`ll hear it - their soft, steady purr, calming and comforting, the kind that makes a house feel like home. Picture these gorgeous girls curled beside you, bringing warmth, companionship, and peace to everyday life.

They are spayed, healthy, and ready for their forever homes. If the right opportunity comes along, we would love to see them adopted together.

Their adoption fee is sponsored $0
Two amazing young sisters used their Christmas and birthday savings to sponsor Ti & Rey - sisters helping sisters.

Ready to meet them? Visit upaws.org and submit an adoption interest form to get the yarn ball rolling.

More about this shelter

We are a local non-profit organization run and staffed by your neighbors. We make decisions on caring for homeless, unwanted, abandoned and abused domestic animals based on what we believe is best for them. We have no affiliation with any larger group and we receive no funding from any larger group that might influence our decisions or actions.

We advocate only for the animals in our care to help them find their forever home with you.

UPAWS does not receive operating funds from any governmental agency. We rely on donations from our neighbors and friends to make our efforts possible. We save consistently 98% of the animals who come to us – which is an award-winning success story. We want to educate everyone on proper animal care so there soon won’t be the three percent who come to us too sick or wounded to be saved. It’s your support that makes this dream possible.
