My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

✨ Meet Bobbie & Susie: Two Shy Sweethearts on a Secret Mission to Steal Your Heart ✨
Bobbie and Susie are a bonded duo of gentle lady cats who recently found themselves at the SPCA after their beloved human passed away. Life threw them a curveball, but these two are sticking together like the world's cutest support group.
🌙 Their Vibe
Think of Bobbie and Susie as the introverted roommates of your dreams:

They won't crash your Zoom calls

They won't judge your snack choices

They will quietly adore you once they feel safe

They're shy at first - like "hide behind the couch and peek out dramatically" shy - but once they warm up, their sweetness is undeniable.
🏡 Their Dream Home

These girls are looking for a calm, patient, quiet home where they can settle in at their own pace. Loud parties? Hard pass. Gentle voices, soft blankets, and someone who understands that trust grows slowly? Yes, please.
💛 Why You'll Love Them

Bobbie and Susie are the kind of cats who make you feel chosen. When they finally decide you're their person, it's pure magic. They're bonded, brave in their own quiet way, and ready to start a new chapter with someone who sees the beauty in gentle souls.

The BC SPCA is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for domestic, farm and wild animals in British Columbia. Through its locations and operations across the province the BC SPCA provides emergency medical care and sheltering for more than 37,000 animals each year. The society also conducts more than 4,600 cruelty investigations and provides a wide range of advocacy and education programs for domestic, farm and wild animals through its Provincial Office.

Our mission, vision and charter is at the heart of all we do to rescue, protect and care for animals. It is also the driving force behind our animal welfare and education programs.

Our Charter:

The BC SPCA Charter is the foundation that guides the work we do:

Whereas:

The world is inhabited by many species sharing a common ecosystem of air, earth, and water. We recognize and value our interconnectedness with all animals.

Therefore:

The BC Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals is dedicated to protecting and enhancing the quality of life for the animals of the world we share.

We pledge our energies to inspire and mobilize society to create a world in which all animals, who depend on humans for their well-being, experience, as a minimum, five essential freedoms:

1. Freedom from hunger and thirst

2. Freedom from pain, injury, and disease

3. Freedom from distress

4. Freedom from discomfort

5. Freedom to express behaviours that promote well-being.
