Milo is a 4-year-old, 15-pound Shih Tzu mix with a loving heart and a gentle soul. This affectionate boy is truly a wonderful companion who thrives on closeness with his people.
In his foster home, Milo has been an absolute sweetheart — devoted, cuddly, and eager to bond. He’s doing fantastic with house training and has excellent manners around the home. Milo walks beautifully on leash, doesn’t bark on walks, and gets happily excited when he sees other dogs. He seems to really enjoy canine friends!
Milo is also doing great with the resident cat — the two are even beginning to play together, which is just adorable. He’s responsive when you call him and loves being part of a calm, predictable routine.
One of Milo’s cutest quirks? He puts himself to bed in his crate like a polite little gentleman.
Because Milo is still building confidence, he does best with slow, gentle handling at first until trust is established. He would thrive in an adult-only home with structure, consistency, and a quieter environment with fewer “moving parts.” If you’re looking for a loyal, affectionate companion who will blossom into your best buddy with patience and love, Milo may be your perfect match.
