Behavioral issues

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

We adopted Cyrus a few weeks ago and overall he is an energetic loving boy that needs someone who can provide lots of attention and exercise for. His previous owner had no behavioral issues, but ever since we took him in, it's like training a wild puppy all over again and my wife and I simply don't have experience to retrain/handle such a big dog.

He is more comfortable with women and he's skittish around men and it takes a couple days to get used to them. Particularly, he tried to take my food off the table and my wife and I thought it was funny, but when we tried to get it back from him he snapped at me. Ever since we tend to eat when he's outside.

This handsome boy really needs someone who is well experienced with handling bigger dogs. My wife and I are used to smaller lap dogs and we thought we can handle a hyper boy like Cyrus but we don't have the time or resources to give him the full love and attention that he really needs.
