Handsome, solid and sturdy, Alonso has left the outdoor life far behind him. He is now charming all our volunteers with his good nature, curiosity, casual playfulness, and cleverness – even figuring out how to open a box of treats all on his own! This easygoing, affectionate guy loves to be pet and to lounge alongside you; he generally prefers to keep paws on the ground rather than being carried for any length of time. He is somewhere between curious and neutral about other cats.
Like many former street cats, Alonso has tested positive for FIV. However, he is healthy and expected to live a normal lifespan with the same veterinary care any cat should receive.
This friendly guy is ready to move on to a forever home where he can soak up all the love and attention he deserves. Maybe yours? Start the introductions with Alonso by submitting our online adoption application at https://www.fofct.org/adoption-application. All adopters must live within 45 miles of Stamford, CT.
