Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Grey Mama 🩶🐾
Grey Mama is a quiet, subdued lady with a gentle but timid spirit. She tends to be skittish in new environments and prefers to keep her distance until she feels safe. While she tolerates minimal petting, she is easily overwhelmed and may retreat when unsure.
In the shelter, Grey Mama has shown fearful behaviors, choosing to move away rather than engage when stressed. She hasn't displayed aggression, but like many sensitive cats, she may escalate if she feels trapped and unable to escape. Giving her space, choice, and time will be essential to helping her feel secure.
Grey Mama is a Behavior Level 3 and will do best in a calm, adult-only home with an experienced adopter. She'll need a patient guardian who understands shy cats and is willing to build trust slowly using positive reinforcement, treats, and gentle encouragement. Providing cozy hiding spots and allowing her to approach on her own terms will help her gain confidence.
With time and understanding, Grey Mama has the potential to settle into a peaceful home where she can truly relax. If you have a quiet household and a compassionate heart for a sensitive cat, she may be the one for you. 🩶 Primary Color: Gray Weight: 12.375 Age: 12yrs 0mths 0wks
