My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

This brindle beauty busted out the Imperial County Animal Control facility in El Centro, California. She is now being fostered by a wonderful family who think that she is an amazing dog and deserves a family of her own.

She does amazing with kids but is a little dog selective, and we think that is th case because dogs from her past haven’t been very nice to her.

Stripes is looking for a stable home that will love her and never abandoned her the way her old owners and never want to physically go look for her.

This is a perfect apartment Dog says she does not require a lot of space to run around, her main focus is to be loved on and be with a family.

Stripes loves the outdoors, but she also loves to sleep on a soft bed and does not mind being inside a kennel.

According to her foster, she has been the perfect guest and is eager to please anybody that gives her the time and day.

We are a non-for profit organization that helps save animals from high kill animal pounds and also rescue animals from Mexico. We do not have a facility and rely primarily on dogs that are already in our foster care program.

More about this rescue

Calexico Border Paws focuses on providing a safe haven for neglected, abandoned, or abused dogs. We hope to one day build a community where people value animals and treat them with respect and kindness.
