My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

I am Meadow and I am the sweetest, most loving girl with a purr like a jet engine.  I am less common for an orange cat, being female.  I have had some mixed luck with my life so far, but I will say mostly good.  I was rescued from a 'free kitten' situation and came to my fosters who love me lots.  They and cats can have looked after me so  well during the 'bad luck' bit of my life.  I got conjuctivitis in one eye, which should not have been a problem because cats can sent me to a really good vet who has a specialty in treating eyes.   Sadly, I got a very unusual allergy to one of the meds I was given and had a really bad reaction which nearly cost me my eye!  Luckily with medication change and lots of care and support from my vet, Cats Can and my fosters, as well as having to wear a horrible collar, I have come through the trauma and still have my eye, although it does have some scarring and my vision in my left eye will always be a little blurry.  It does not slow me down though, especially now that I no longer have to wear the collar.  I am now ready and waiting for my forever home.  I love people and other cats, toys and games and I love to sleep beside my people.  I would just love to bring sunshine into your life.

This kitty is currently in a loving foster home and has been tested negative for FIV/FELV, microchipped, has age appropriate vaccinations, and has been spayed/neutered.
