Meet Elena

Elena is a very sweet girl with a gentle heart. She can be a little shy at first, but with a bit of patience and kindness, she truly blossoms. Once she feels safe, she loves soft pets and quiet attention from her favorite people.

Elena would do beautifully in a calm home that will give her the time she needs to settle in and show her loving personality. Behind that shy beginning is a devoted, tender kitty just waiting to share her heart.

Submit Application

Once you submit an application, one of our dedicated adoption volunteer coordinators will contact you.

2.
Meet the Pet

Some of our kitties are in foster homes and about 40 are at our shelter. So be patient! We may have to schedule a visit at a foster home.

3.
Approve Application

The volunteer adoption coordinator will call your veterinary reference and your personal references. Video home visit too!

At any given time, Ferndale Cat Shelter has at least 150-250 cats and kittens in our care. Most of those kitties are in foster homes while 40-50 may be at our shelter. We love to make the purrfect match for you so you and your kitty will live long and healthy lives together.
