Meet Waylon an ABCA registered full blooded Border Collie. Waylon is a gorgeous Blue Merle, with strong blood lines showing in his Brown Eyes...no weak blues here. Waylon is 7 years old, altered and UTD on shots. He had some dental issues from an accident as a puppy. He is missing one lower k9 and was not ring shown. But neither the loss of a tooth nor the absence of the show ring bother him. Waylon has always been a lovable individual to people and other dogs. He is high energy active and loves to play. The Border Collie breed as a whole do not recognize age numbers as their state of being....They are active dogs well into their teens. Do what I advise and they will stay healthy and live beyond their breed life expectancy.....most of ours at ISBCRezQ reach 16 to 18 years. Not the 12 to 14 expected. Our Adoption Fees vary according to a percentage of the medical expenses paid for that individual and general care. Pre-Adoption applications via email are needed before scheduling your meet and greet. We request a reference letter from your Veterinarian on business letterhead displaying your address and phone number. All adopted animals are Spayed/Neutered and UTD on shots and treatments. Unless clarified otherwise. Being a Border Collie Breed Rescue we do require some knowledge of the breed's temperament, characteristics, and needs. If you are new to the breed we do suggest that you research to make sure that this breed is right for you. While here you can also meet the Summers BC Shelter Gang many of whom are living with cancer. When you say that word to a dog they just smile up at you and wag their tail.
