Ms Alma is an almost 3 month old medium breed mix pup, we think little hound lab mix pup. She was one of nine siblings from our ENCANTO litter!
She was the largest from her litter currently at 15lbs. She is definitely a leader and very independent. She loves doing her own thing, chewing on benebones, napping on the biggest doggy bed she can find and cuddles with her foster fur siblings. She loves playing tag with the big dogs in the house. When she is good and sleepy, she is down for cuddles and a couch nap.
She is currently fostered with a 7 year old and a 6 year old doggy foster siblings. She is watching and learning all she can from them. She is learning to have boundaries with the older dogs. She has met children and is extremely gentle with them. She gives the happiest little tail wag she sees a tiny human.
Her puppy pen is connected to a kennel, and has had very positive experiences with the kennel. She has started sleeping through the night in her kennel. She has also started house training, and is doing really well. She has already learned a few basic commands. She knows “sit” “down” “Wait” and “kennel”.
Ideal home would be :
Because of age, she will need a family that understands the commitment of raising a puppy—training, structure, socialization, and lots of consistency. A blank slate who will thrive with positive reinforcement and time.
