My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Nacho Fry’s story is one of second chances, quiet courage, and the kind of love that takes patience. He is still learning to trust people—he can be short-tempered and reactive at times, occasionally mouthing or hissing. Nacho Fry enjoys gentle pets on the top of his head and will reward you with purrs and biscuit-making. He loves Churu treats and playing with his mouse toy. Nacho Fry would thrive in a quiet, calm home with a very patient and experienced adopter who can continue to help him build confidence. One small request from this distinguished gentleman: he prefers not to be touched when he’s lying on his side with his belly exposed. Boundaries respected = happy Nacho Fry.

Nacho Fry is FIV positive, but that doesn’t define him. FIV+ cats can live long, happy, normal lives — and Nacho Fry can safely live with non-FIV cats without issue. What he needs most isn’t special medical treatment… it’s someone who sees the wonderful cat behind the label.

He would thrive in a quiet, calm home with a very patient and experienced adopter. The person who understands that trust is gradually, with patience and kindness will ultimately reap great rewards. We hope the right someone will give this boy the chance he deserves. 💛 Adoption by appointment only with an approved adoption application.
