Looking to rehome Pepper, a 3 year old cattle dog mix. We found her as a stray on a local trail when she was about a year old and came to realize she had spent quite a while out there. We posted her everywhere, checked for microchips. We spayed her, house trained and crate trained her, and treated her for the heartworms that she tested positive for.
We have two older dogs (10 & 11) and young kids in a rental, so we do not have the appropriate space for her and she is very high energy. She is great around the kids and our cat but my older dogs snap at her a lot. Looking for a good home for her with space & time for her to burn off her endless energy and be hopefully more challenging mentally. She loves cuddles and wants all the attention!
She is kennel trained. She was up to date on her shots up until a few months ago, as due to financial difficulties we haven’t been able to get her annual boosters.
