Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, I'm Buffet! My start here at BCHS was less than ideal. I was left on the front desk by a man— emaciated, missing hair, and an all-around hungry and scruffy guy. The first thing that staff learned about me is that I am a big foodie... hence my name. Staff says I like it too much, but who can like food too much?! I do eat so fast that they give me a slow feed bowl to help me pace myself... otherwise I’d gobble it all up too fast!
It’s been a few weeks since I arrived, and I’ve really started to settle in. I’m enjoying the good life indoors with plenty of meals, toys, and cozy bedding. I’m looking much less scrappy these days, and I'm feeling better, too.
I’m an energetic guy who loves to play! Catnip, scratchers, and toys I can chase and “hunt” are my favorites. They help me burn off all that enthusiasm. I’ll admit, I’m still a foodie at heart. Sometimes I just can’t shake the old worry about when my next meal might come. But I’m learning that I’m safe now.
The staff kindly ask that if you’d like to meet me outside of my cage, please ask them first. I can get a little overstimulated in this busy environment.
If you think I'd be a good fit for your family, please come down and meet me... we can have lunch. ;)
