Cappy had a rough start in life. Cappy came into the shelter with puncture wounds on both sides of his head. His head & face were swollen. They think he was grabbed and shaken by a larger animal. They did not think he would make it through the night. He was sent to foster so he would be in a home & not alone if he passed. He basically did not move for about 3 days. On day 3 he finally lifted his head and acknowledged his foster.
Since then, it was taken a day at a time to let his body heal. He was treated like shaken baby syndrome. He has a permanent head tilt and a bit of a lazy eye on the left side because he was left with facial nerve paralysis on that side from his injuries.
He has now been neutered & is ready for his new family. His foster mother (& his first foster mother) tell us he is the sweetest little kitty ever.
