If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Nova was adopted when she was 8 weeks old in port charlotte Florida. She will be 4 years old in November.
I am looking to rehome her because I now have a 7 month old baby, she has not adjusted since. She has started peeing on my couch frequently, hissing at me, hissing at my son. She is very very shy and will hide from strangers, she only comes out with people shes familiar with. She does not like loud people or babies crying. Nova does well with other cats after getting familiar with them. We have had several cats in the house.
I hate that I am even thinking about doing this because I do love her so much, but with a new baby, I am so overwhelmed and my mental health is taking a toll.
