If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
A little about Duke: he is truly a snuggle bug and a lover. Because he bonds so deeply, he does struggle with separation anxiety and truly needs a home where someone is around often to give him the snuggles and attention he craves. He thrives on being close to his people and would do best as an only pet, where he can soak up all the love.
He has been the absolute best big brother to our 2-year-old daughter: gentle, affectionate, and incredibly loyal. While he needs a patient soul to help him feel secure when left alone, he is absolutely worth the extra effort. Duke is food-motivated and loves to learn; he just needs someone committed to giving him the stability he deserves
