Why I need a new home

Human health issues (e.g. allergies, sickness)

My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lyla is a sweet 13-year-old cat who was abandoned by her previous owners. When I found her in mid-December, I knew I had to give her a safe and loving home. Senior cats like Lyla are super special and deserve comfort and care in their golden years.

Sadly, I finally realized the morning sniffles and sneezing that have been plaguing me are in fact an allergic response to this Queen. I've never been allergic to a cat before, so this wasn't even on my radar.

In our short time together, Lyla has really warmed up. She is typically a bit shy with folks at first and then loves to be by your side with small chirps and a desire for belly and butt rubs. She's very low key, sleeps alot and would be an easy addition for a relaxed home. I think she would be fine with a mellow cat and probably dog, as she is very docile.

Upon vet check we did the deworming and defleaing (she didn't have any) - vet gave her a thumbs up in overall health. Bloodwork was recommend when a symptomatic problem shows.
