Venus has been part of our family since we adopted her from PetSmart when she was just one year old. Now at 8 years young, she has grown into a loving, loyal, and wonderfully gentle companion.
From the very beginning, Venus has had a calm and affectionate spirit. She absolutely loves attention and will happily soak up all the pets and cuddles you’re willing to give. If you’re looking for a dog who enjoys being near her people, Venus is your girl.
One of her favorite things in the world? Car rides! The moment she hears the keys, her ears perk up. She also loves being outside—whether it’s lounging in the sunshine, exploring the yard, or just enjoying the fresh air. She’s happiest when she can relax outdoors or be close to her family.
Venus prefers a quieter environment. Loud noises can make her nervous, and when things get too busy or overwhelming, she’ll retreat to her kennel, which she sees as her safe space. She’s very good about settling herself when she needs comfort.
