Atticus is a very playful little man who will definitely keep you laughing! He loves his cube tent with a dangling ball inside of it. He’ll crawl inside and roll himself all over the living room while swatting at the ball. Atticus also loves the laser pointer and will chase it around for as long as the kids he lives with will use it. After playing, his favorite thing to do is to curl up by the fireplace and watch what the kids he lives with are up to. Atticus really enjoys pets and cuddles but he isn’t a cat that demands your attention around the clock. He loves to play and explore, coming up to his people to check-in and get some snuggles before more playing, exploring, or taking another snooze in front of the fireplace. Atticus does well with other cats and has been with two adult cats while he’s been in his foster home. We are unsure how he is with dogs, but wouldn’t expect any issues- especially with an older or lower energy dog who respects his space. Atticus has been in a home with six kids ages 5-16 and does well with them. This sweet boy has brought a lot of laughter and joy into our home and I’m sure will bring the same into the home of his forever family!

Little Mews is an all volunteer, non profit, 501(c)3, no-kill, animal rescue organization. We take in cats and kittens from a variety of situations, most are stray, unwanted, neglected or abused. We can also refer you to other organizations in the area that have dogs, cats and other animals for adoption and have information about low cost spay and neuter options.
All our cats and kittens who are ready for adoption have been checked by a vet, vaccinated for FVRCP, rabies (if over 4 months), tested for Feline Leukemia, FIV, wormed, and spayed/neutered if old enough. Any health conditions are treated so that the cats can be adopted as healthy as possible.
Our goal is to find safe, healthy, forever homes for cats and to promote spay/neuter so that the number of unwanted cats is lowered every year. We want each cat and kitten adopted to a home where it will live forever.
