My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sisi (name she answers to), is a sweet 11yr old mini schnauzer/Scotty mixed. She enjoys cuddles, kisses, sun gazing, bananas & walks on trails. I’ve been her dog mom for 10yrs. She has grown up with my 2 children, ages 10 & 17 as well as my second sweet boy who is also a 6yr old mini schnauzer. I rescued her from the Douglas county animal shelter 10yrs ago as I was diagnosed with postpartum depression. She has been a great support to me throughout these years. Our family loves her so much. She's grown up with my babies.

Unfortunately, through life’s transitions, it is one of the hardest decisions I have to make to re-home her to another loving family. As a now blended family, there are 3 small children in our home (younger than 10). With a family of 7 now & smaller children, it was a hard conclusion to make that as an older dog she’s not compatible with active smaller children as they are rougher. She’s deserves a family that can nurture her gentle demeanor.
