My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Misty — A Gentle Little Cloud of Sweetness

Misty is a very shy but sweet and playful kitty who’s looking for a quiet, indoor-only home where she can feel safe, secure, and loved at her own pace. She may take time to adjust, but once she feels comfortable, her playful personality softly shines through.

She seems to do well with respectful teens, and having friendly, social cats in the home is a MUST—they help her feel safe and build her confidence (with slow, patient introductions). She may also be okay with a calm, cat-savvy small dog.

Misty prefers affection on her terms and does not enjoy being picked up or cuddled, but she loves sharing space with her people and quietly being part of the moment. She’ll need plenty of time to settle in, plus lots of cozy hideaways where she can relax and observe the world.

Misty’s Comfort Checklist:
Plenty of soft hiding spots and cozy nap zones
Cat trees and scratching posts for climbing and confidence
Window perches for peaceful bird-watching
TONS of toys, especially interactive and catnip favorites

Favorite Things:
Treats, wet food, catnip, gentle playtime, and feeling safe with her kitty friends

If you have a calm home, patient hearts, and friendly feline companions, Misty is ready to drift quietly into your life and stay forever.
