Charcoal is a very shy, sometimes panicky little sweetheart who’s searching for a quiet, indoor-only home where life moves gently and predictably. She may start off feeling overwhelmed by new things, but underneath that nervous exterior is a sweet, playful kitty just waiting to feel safe enough to shine.
She seems to do well with respectful teens, and having friendly, social cats in the home is a MUST—they help her feel secure and show her the ropes (with slow, patient introductions, of course). She may also be okay with a calm, cat-savvy small dog.
Charcoal will need lots of extra time to settle in and adjust, plus plenty of cozy places to hide, rest, and observe the world at her own pace. With patience and love, she blossoms into a playful little companion who enjoys life’s simple comforts.
Charcoal’s Comfort Checklist: Lots of soft hiding spots and cozy nap zones Cat trees and scratching posts for climbing and confidence-building Window perches for peaceful bird-watching TONS of toys, especially interactive and catnip-filled fun
Favorite Things: Treats, wet food, catnip, gentle playtime, and feeling safe near her kitty friends
If you have a calm home, patient hearts, and friendly feline companions ready to help a shy girl grow brave, Charcoal is ready to softly curl her way into your life.
