My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Beau is a handsome brown tabby and white gentleman with an easygoing personality that makes him an instant favorite. As an adult cat, he’s past the wild kitten phase and has perfected the art of relaxed living. Beau is mostly a “lounge around and see what’s happening” kind of guy — happy to supervise your day from a comfy spot nearby — but he’ll surprise you with playful moments when the mood strikes!

Beau is wonderfully social and does great with other cats. He came to TCPR alongside his buddy Arrow (they may be biological brothers… or just brothers by choice!), and the two enjoy each other’s company. While Beau does not need to be adopted with Arrow, they would make a fantastic ready-made pair for someone looking to double the feline love. If you’re trying to tell them apart, Beau is the older and bigger of the two — a little more “big brother” energy to match his size!

He’s also great with kids and adapts easily to new environments, making him a versatile fit for many different types of homes. Beau’s calm, steady nature makes him the kind of cat who settles in quickly and becomes a comforting, dependable presence.

If you’re looking for a sweet, adaptable, all-around wonderful cat who’s equal parts chill companion and occasional playmate, Beau might just be your perfect match. 🐱💛

Beau is fixed, microchipped, FIV/FeLv negative, and current on age-appropriate vaccinations.

More about this rescue

Twin Cities Pet Rescue (TCPR) is a small, 501c3 nonprofit, companion animal rescue organization. TCPR does not have a facility and is 100% foster-based. TCPR rescues dogs, cats and small animals of all breeds; rescuing them from city impounds, puppy mills, and other situations of abuse and neglect. Once rescued, all animals receive veterinary care ranging from spay/neuter, vaccines, microchips, and basic testing to specialty eye surgeries, pet dermatology care, and various other specialty treatments. Once an animal is rescued by TCPR, it remains in a foster home until adopted, no matter how long that might take.
TCPR often rescues animals that are considered “less adoptable” by other rescue organizations, as they are often the ones overlooked and truly left behind; and in need of the most help. These animals might be overlooked due to their age, health status, special needs or breed. TCPR works to help as many animals in need find their furever families as we can, especially helping those animals that need help most.
