Much like his namesake, Wade arrived with a battle scar — a pretty nasty head wound that required veterinary care, infection treatment, and even a surgical drain. (Cue intense superhero backstory music.) But thanks to expert care and his own impressive healing powers, his wound is healing beautifully and will soon be nothing more than a legend whispered in the treat cabinet.
At first, Wade was understandably scared. New place. New people. No chimichangas. But this brave boy has been blossoming day by day. He’s already making friends, discovering the joys of gentle pets, and proving that underneath his “rough around the edges” introduction is a heart as sweet as jam.
