Hi there - I'm Zoey! Life has brought me to the shelter after my family went through some financial hardships and sadly couldn't keep me anymore. They cared about me very much, and now I'm hoping to find my next chapter with a family who's ready for all the love and fun I have to offer! I'm a young, sweet, and playful girl who's always ready for an adventure. Walks are one of my favorite things - I love getting outside to explore, sniff everything along the way, and spend time with my people. Toys are also a big hit with me, especially when someone joins in on the fun! When playtime is over, I'm happiest staying close by your side, soaking up attention and companionship. I'm friendly with other dogs and have done well with kids of all ages. I might accidentally knock over smaller kiddos with my enthusiasm sometimes. I promise it's all love though! HSSC places animals on a first come, first serve basis. After an animal that is available for adoption has been met with, the animal’s name can be put on an application. Animals that are applied for must be adopted the same day or within 24 hours of the animal being placed on the adoption application. Exceptions will be made if any animal needs a medical procedure, but then will need to be adopted within 24 hours of being cleared from that procedure. HSSC reserves the right to accommodate alternate timelines for special needs/behavioral issue animals.
It is the potential adopter's responsibility to communicate with their landlord to contact HSSC for approval or to provide documentation stating permission within 24 hours of application submission.
It is also the potential adopter's responsibility to produce a current rabies certificate for their current dog(s) to conduct a dog to dog meet and greet within 24 hours of application submission.
