My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Pigeon is a sweet and affectionate cat with a gentle personality and a constant, adorable coo that earned her name. Pigeon loves attention and will roll onto her back, purring asking for love. Her favourite spots for pets are under her chin and behind her ears. She is sensitive about being touched on her lower back or around her bum, and she appreciates having her boundaries respected.

Pigeon can become overstimulated with long petting sessions, so shorter, calm interactions work best. When she’s had enough, she may give a gentle swipe to communicate her feelings, but she never uses her claws. She would thrive as the only cat in a calm home where she can relax and build trust at her own speed.

Pigeon is very food motivated and will happily chat with you while you’re in the kitchen, politely asking for snacks while still keeping all four paws off the counters. Lick mats and treat puzzles work especially well for keeping her mentally stimulated and satisfied, helping redirect her focus away from constantly asking for food.

She isn’t much of a jumper, preferring to stay at comfortable heights like couches and beds. This sweet kitty absolutely loves tube treats and will happily enjoy them right from your finger, making treat time a special bonding moment.
